Wow - this is amazing. Beautiful and strange cloud formation, - like a giant smoke ring. Well captured Gudrun

Thank you so much! The clouds parting in the middle was a stroke of luck, it made for a a sunny evening after a mainly grey day.

I've seen so many great photos of this Channel. It must be marvellous travelling it by ship (and I can imagine how many shots are taken en-route!).

;-DD
9 years ago.
Gudrun club has replied to Dida From Augsburg club

I can resist, but your selection of photos on ipernity has such a high standard and quality, so I wish all photos were flagged by YS and I can only put the flag off of some (not many of them). ;-)
Gudrun club has replied to Tomas K☼h☼ut
Thanks very much, Tom, for all the YS! Well, it's more than 7 years since I joined Pano and I hope I have learned a bit since then from fellow users:-) I put all photos uploaded on iper through lightroom from their originals (sadly only jpg in many cases), I don't use the old and sometimes embarrassing Pano-versions;-)
Tomas K☼h☼ut has replied to Gudrun club
Pano versions were fine, as I remember (at least for me)... and they have a great value of presentation on map. :(

Sadly, map layer on Pano is no longer updated. At least GE layer is still on. With the end of GE presentation, it would be the end for my presence on Pano too.
Gudrun club has replied to Tomas K☼h☼ut
When I started on Pano some of my photos might have been valuable for the map, but these days there are stacks of photos even in the most out-of-the-way-places- Antarctica is full of them!
I did miss the map layer when they stopped updating but these days I find myself quite often disabling photos on GE because I cannot see the map for all the blue squares...
Tomas K☼h☼ut has replied to Gudrun club
That's a kind of exerience progress.
I still use and enjoy GE and Panoramio photos layer quite often.
Gudrun club has replied to Tomas K☼h☼ut
I also do that when I want to see what a place looks like, but when I want to see the terrain the blue squares are getting a bit much;-)

Gudrun club has replied to Stevia club
