Großen Dank! Was die Häuschen sollen, weiß ich nicht. Für Bootshäuser fehlt der Steg... Gugeln erbrachte auch keine Treffer, außer dass der Betreiber des teuren Rorbu- Hotels auf dem Inselchen Konkurs angemeldet hat.

It's rather ironic - I found and realize the presence of this object only at your photo - I did not notice it when I've passed by! I was too busy with climbing the bridge and by looking for the geocache nearby.

LOL- "at least it keeps me away from Iceland",-) Actually there are some beekeepers in Iceland but the bees have never survived a winter so far...

...sorry, there it's too dark and cold - there is only fish to eat and imported honey! ;-DD

Danke, Ko! Mir war es an dem Tag schon fast zu warm! Wer erwartet denn im März 10/11 Grad plus nöredlich des Polarkreises;-)

Gudrun, according to your photo date, it looks like you had a good chance to see total eclipse in Norway (observation at Svalbard was not possible due to the poor weather)... and great northern light! I guess, you've planned your trip to see the eclipse...
Huge eruptions of solar wind followed by northern light were recorded on 18th March, even in the mountains of Czech Republic! I've been at locations where observation was made - but 20 days earlier... :(

Actually, I went home on the 18th... Others especially prolonged their tour to see the eclipse in Bergen only to see absolutely nothing- Bergen lived up to its reputation as rain capital;-)
But I watched the solar storm in excellent weather! Pity you didn't get to see it..
