Martel - Dordogne
The Dordogne, seen from the "Belvédère de Copeyre". The building on the cliff is part of the "Château de Mirandol". Just a few kilometers away is Uxellodunum, place of the last revolt against Rome's authority in Gaul. Caesar personally led the Roman troops. He described the "Siege of Uxellodunum" in "De Bello Gallico".
