rice toss
Yesterday we happened to visit a Buddhist temple at just the right time to catch an annual festival. Part of the ceremony was tossing pink and white rice paste balls, the catching and eating of same bringing good luck. Also parts of the temple normally closed to the public, kind o af sanctum sanctorium, could be viewed this one day a year. Cool!
