Great shot despite the lighting issue.... The lighting source looks to be compact fluorescent. Usually setting the white balance in the camera for fluorescent lighting when shooting in these public spaces will yield the tones you're looking for/at when shooting such scenes.

Thank you for your thoughts Fizgig the lighting must be new I have shots taken about 6 months ago and there is no blue hue the lighting appears to be a lot more even now not the great variation of light and dark. will go again sometime and have another try.

Must confess I quiet like this shot the way it is, do agree though about the chairs especially those piled up waiting to be laid out.

Beautifully captured Peter. To be honest I really love the blue cast and thought it was intentional. Gives a lovely effect that suits the scene perfectly. It is a magnificent cathedral.
