Built in 1884 by Corpet [Paris] wksno. 439
This has Brown's Valve Gear and indirect drive to the coupled wheels via the rocker arm.
It is one of six similar locomotives that worked at a Spanish coal mine. Five were built by Corpet and the sixth was a copy constructed in the mine workshops in the 1950s.
No.2 remained in use until the 1960s before being preserved in Spain [another one is a static exhibit in Portual]. Restored to operational condition in 2012.
