Built by Hawker Siddeley, the Hunter was one of the most successful sub-sonic British military aircraft after 1945. One example held the world airspeed record in 1953, with 727.63 mph.

This aircraft was built in 1956 for export, and served with Eskadrille 724 of the Royal Danish Air Force, until the unit was disbanded in 1973.
