Beales
The Beales Department Store on Deansgate, Bolton, was formerly owned by Whitakers which first opened in Bolton in 1829. The business seems to have expanded into this building in 1920 having previously occupies the black and white timber-faced building to the left, which was completed in 1907. Beales bought the business in 1996 but closure came in July 2016 with the building being divided into smaller retail units.
