Golden Bean
Not the best photo, but thought I'd include it. This native, wild plant is also called Buffalobean. It's a member of the Pea family and grows in dry, sandy grasslands and open pine forests. Grows May to early June. NOTE: eating any part of this plant will cause respiratory paralysis! It adds such a bright splash of colour in so many natural areas here - very cheery and pretty.
