Western Tanager

Western Tanager
I was really happy to see this male Western Tanager while at the Coaldale Bird of Prey Centre (near Lethbridge, southern Alberta) three days ago. They are such beautifully bright, colorful birds. I had been lucky enough to see one recently in the garden of friends (thanks, Phil and Jen), but the photo above turned out sharper.
