Started an image search for an ID for this striking moth, but have had no luck so far. Found it quite by chance when I was walking in the Ford Creek Road swamp area this afternoon. A Sapsucker had just flown into a nearby tree, but I was unable to get a photo. Took a few steps down to the creek that flows under the road and happened to look down at the ground and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this small but spectacular moth.
