Black Swan
There is a pair of these elegant Black Swans at the Calgary Zoo, but I have been having a problem photographing them. The sun shining on their jet black feathers just seems to blow out almost every image!
The Australian Black Swan (Cygnus atratus) is completely black except for the white flight feathers on its wings. It is the closest living relative of the Mute Swan.
