Reflections at Grassi Lakes

These lakes are in Kananaskis country, west of Calgary, near the town of Canmore (and not very far from Banff). I had very kindly been invited to go walking there yesterday and we had a really enjoyable hike. There was a lot of haze over the mountains, which isn't exactly what one hopes for as far as photography goes, and it was sunny and around 30C. The Grassi Lakes are emerald green and a beautiful waterfall plunges below the lower lake. It is a very popular trail and I can see why. The reflections in the second lake were quite powerful and gave me rather a strange feeling. Large size makes it a little easier to see.
