Drift wood.

Drift wood.
The West Fjords are where you find the greatest amount of driftwood on Iceland's shores. It comes all the way from Siberia, where the logs are transported down rivers to the sawing mills. Some of those are captured by ocean currents that carry them all the way to Iceland over a 4 to 5-year period. ⠀

A gorgeous looking piece of coast. The blue tones of the sea and sky are gorgeous and I like all the sun and sea bleached driftwood in the foreground. A beautiful shot Annemarie.
