Time exposure? I had the camera on shutter priority and had been taking photos of the galahs when they were relatively still. Then they all took off together (as galahs are prone to do) and I just got lucky.

We get these birds by the hundred and, for birds, they are exceedingly stupid! In fact the term "stupid galah" is used in Australia for a silly person!
