Utterly magnificent, George! So breathtaking and beautiful! I do love images which evoke a sound to go with it, and I hear the waves crashing as I gaze at this lovely picture. Wonderful!!

Thank you for your comment on my latest picture, I'm glad you enjoyed the couple looking out at the ocean and the accompanying insets! :)

BTW, I showed my husband your picture and he wanted to let you know how impressed he was! He loved the quality of this wide-angle image and we talked about your lens and why the cropped sensor created a wider image. Steve loves the technical aspects of photography and so loved chatting about how a picture like yours could have come out looking quite wonky but instead is a mind-blowing beauty! :)

Hope you have a GREAT DAY!! :)

Thank you very much indeed for your kind comments on this image (and the one of the two watchers in the smoke), Janet. I can understand why this raised technical questions, it's clearly a wide angle image and the box up at the top right shows the FL as 23mm, but the lens info shows it taken by a Pentax lens with a FL of 35-70mm, which just doesn't match.

So, here's the story. The FL is correct at 23mm, the camera is a full frame Pentax K1, but the lens lied when it gave its name and details to the camera! I don't claim to know how the lens ID is stored, but this particular lens does this every time! The correct lens ID is a Tokina AF 19-35mm 1:3.5-4.5, which I have included in the Keywords. Stay safe and all the very best for the coming week
