Cardiff Outing

Cardiff Outing
My dad is on the top left looking very respectable; my Aunt Joan (his sister) is the one in the light dress, sitting in the front row, 2nd from right.
A final goodbye to Auntie Joan today took place in Cardiff. She was very loved.
This photo was taken either right before, or soon after they lost their Dad.
Cardiff, Wales, 1930s.
According to my Dad, the young girl sitting in the front row to the right (next to Joan) was his cousin - Connie. She was annoyed about being close to the boy bending down who had a crush on her - and according to my Dad Connie thought she was far too good for him. "Typical!" said my father and even after all these years he was irritated all over again when he saw her in this photo!
To the left of his sister, third from right, is his cousin, Sheila that he and Joan were very close to.
Probably a church outing. Might have been one of the last times my father was associated with a church. : )

B C has particularly liked this photo
