New speed limit 100 km/h
The Netherlands had a bewildering number of speed limits on the motorways for cars: 130 km/h, 120 km/h, 100 km/h, 100 km/h between 7am and 7pm, even on the same road, resulting in fines if you forgot which speed limit was applicable. Now it is all 100 km/h because politicians mishandled nitrogen oxide pollution.
