Locks are always interesting subjects whether they be still like this or used by navigating narrow boats. Lovely reflections.

But is it reflecting the same sky?

Very unusual. Has your Shepperton/Burma stock run out?

Hardly. I only use Shepperton skies were the real sky is completely featureless or overexposed, especially when the sky occupies a large part of the frame. And here (where it doesn't) an over-interesting sky would distract from the main subject, which is the lock and the reflection.

But I have replaced the whole picture since you last saw it. Spot the difference if you can.

Yes, I noticed last time I looked that the photo had been replaced, but, alas, I don't have a photographic memory, so can't remember exactly how it was before. Have you altered the contrast/brightness in some way? I seem to remember an overly bright house/fence against a flat-coloured sky, but it seems more in balance now.

Ah, that's it! You've creosoted the fence!

Correct on both counts. But I've also removed the modern, UPVC conservatory from the side of the house, far left.
