Like this picture or not (and I myself initially rejected it, thinking it insufficiently interesting) it has clocked up an all-time record number of views (by a mile, for one of my shots) on Flickr - 28,775.

I don't know why, because the number of comments and faves are run of the mill.

What's happened to St Olaf?

1. Yes.

2. The composition is slightly better when cropped like that, but as a picture it becomes even more uninteresting.

3. It's been improved as far as possible.
