Learned Behaviour - 27 November 2019

The gate area at Palm Springs airport has quite a few birds around it. There is a large, open air recreational area between the terminal/security point and the gate hub. With the doors to the latter sliding back and forth every couple of minutes, there is easy access for the birds. This, which I think is a so-called Rusty Blackbird, has learned that the drinking fountain is a potential source of refreshment and liked the small drops which are left after human use.
