Keystone Crescent (3) - 28 July 2019
Following my visit to Keystone Crescent on 26 July 2019 [qv], I returned the following Sunday to do some more practical research on the ground. I had learned that an original Caledonian Crescent sign can still be seen on the side of 48 Caledonian Road. This might well be the case but that building was obscured by scaffolding and attendant sheeting. On the opposite corner (no. 46), there is evidence of the removal of an older street sign. That was a disappointment and strikes me as an act (possibly unintentional) of cultural vandalism.
