Goodrich Castle (17) - 18 September 2017

Although ruined, the English Heritage owned Goodrich Castle in Herefordshire is one of the most beautiful and accessible I have been to. A special surprise within the castle was the Chapel dating back to the late 13th century, once truly ruined and now partially restored with the addition of more recent stained glass windows. Of particular interest are three windows commemorating the work of the Radar Research Squadron. More details can be found at the link below.
