American Shutter Co. - 12 November 2015

Although I never stray far from the comfort of buildings, cars and well paved roads, I do like to get off the tourist trail and see the 'real' America. This inclination fits well with my interest in architecture, a subject which often induces the most visceral of feelings.

Sometimes I look at a building and I know I have to photograph it. I was actually engaged on my photography at Hemet-Ryan Airport when I came across the premises of American Shutter Co. at 890 S Cawston Ave, Hemet, CA. I loved the raw functionality of the industrial unit and the faded sign.
