Flat Out (2) - 9 December 2014

Speed bumps are widespread in Lee on Solent's Cherque Farm but the driveways of recently completed houses in the Magister Square development aligned awkwardly with existing bumps on Magister Drive. They were removed and I thought that would be an end to it so it was a surprise when the markings were reinstated on the newly flattened surface almost creating a trompe l'oeil effect. It was also surprising that one should look bright and fresh but the other worn.

This is the view south on Magister Drive. The building on the right is the garage block for 20 & 22 Magister Drive.
