Weymouth Quay Branch (8) - 1 September 2014
The Weymouth Harbour Tramway is also known as the Quay Branch or Harbour Line. I have used my preferred appellation in my titles. It was reportedly last used in 1999 and, since 2009 when Network Rail said they no longer wished to retain it, there has been uncertainty about its future. I decided to walk its length (alongside and, on the town sections, on or near) but rain stopped play before I had gone far on my first attempt.
Following the line from north to south, this is the section between Jubilee Close and King Street.
