First in Weymouth (8) - 1 September 2014

My portraits of First buses in Weymouth continue with Optare Solo SR 59100/YJ62FAM. Many bus photographs like this are purely documentary, designed to capture what was entirely ordinary at the time but which will be, one day, a memory and perhaps of some interest. At the time this picture was taken, Solos were being widely delivered to join Streetlites in First fleets across the UK. This vehicle, which was not displaying its fleet number, was a loan vehicle providing cover during warranty work on company owned vehicles. It is seen here stopping at Weymouth garage.
