Millennium Timespace (4) - 24 September 2013

One's local area is often the least explored, an omission of which I am acutely aware but only infrequently correct. Today, I had the joy of a brief ramble in Gosport and came across for the first time the oddly conceived Millennium Timespace, an installation built around a not especially attractive sundial. It might be unkind to suggest that the rather dull monument disturbingly reflects its equally drab surroundings as, arguably, shown in this image but these are my honest observations of the town. I hope this composition salvages something vaguely artistic from the urban darkness.
