Gromit Unleashed (28) - 6 August 2013
'Gromit Unleashed' is a public art event to be held in Bristol over the summer of 2013. It is in aid of the Bristol Childrens Hospital. 80 Gromits around Bristol and further afield have been decorated by celebrities and will be auctioned at the end of the event. On our main Gromit hunting visit to the city photography was difficult because it was the school holidays and the character is rather more attractive to parents and children than (the Southampton) rhinos. This example is the cryptically named 'Bark at Ee' decorated by Leigh Flurry and on display in Queens Square.
