It's A Hap-Hap-Happy Day
The 1939 Max Fleischer Studios feature cartoon “Gulliver’s Travels” introduced “It’s A Hap-Hap-Hap Happy Day” (Sammy Timberg – Winston Sharples – Al J. Neiburg) as performed by “the chorus” probably Clarence Badger, Wynne Davis, Harry Stafford, Bob Stevens and The Modernaires. This was the single tune the composers wrote for the film.
Eddy Duchin and His Orchestra peaked at number eighteen in late 1939 with “It’s A Hap Hap Happy Day” with the help of vocalists The Three Earbenders. Because the Earbenders seemed to have recorded with no other band they were probably various members of The Eddy Duchin Orchestra.
