Die Welt.. Through a hole in the Berlin Wall.
The Berlin Wall was demolished many years ago. Only this small section stands as a reminder of times gone by.
The balloon is a publicity piece for the German daily newspaper of the same name.
Other than being visible through the wall, they are not connected!

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to gezginruh clubI am so pleased that you like 'The World' in the setting of the Berlin Wall.. Perhaps a reminder that some people could see the world on the other side of the wall, but could not get to it..
Certainly a very interesting walk round the city!
Thank you so much!!
Love Peter

No trace of the Berlin wall remains, except this bit which is to remind us all of the past. However, all the souvenir shops sell bits of concrete supposidly from the wall. (No I didn't buy one!)
There is a Trabant museum next to the balloon too. I've never seen so many Trabants in one place...
Best Wishes, and a good weekend.
Peter
