When I was in primary school there was a foundry opposite, I thought it much more interesting to watch the workmen with the red hot metal, than to listen to the teacher!

I was certainly impressed by the whole industrial nature of Duisburg. Germany seems to have an ability to manufacture things. Such a shame it isn't turning out steel any more.
