Peter_Private_Box club has replied to L. L. Wall clubYour visit and generous awards are most appreciated, it makes being out at 06:47hrs on a september morning feel worthwhile. Fortunately it was only a short walk from the hotel.....
Best Wishes

Yes...golden stars for this golden moment..the right moment.
Have a nice evening Peter...and Wally ;)))
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Tanja - Loughcrew clubI do not know how you managed to get there so quick... As you said, it was the right moment, I knew the train was coming, I knew the sun would rise behind the bridge, but I didn't know what the weather would do. I got lucky for one of the three..
Then back to a nice warm hotel ........
I hope you enjoy your week.
Best Wishes
Peter

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteAs ever, your visit and kind comments have made me happy! In this case there were three steam workings over that bridge early on, the first was too dark, and the third was too misty, so I got lucky with this one! It is of course the opposite side of this bridge.

The nice thing about the Severn Valley galas is that there are steam working in the early morning and late evening, so different shots can be got.
Best Wishes
