Blue Crown. H. A. N. W. E. everyone!

This bloomed last year for the entire duration of my hospital stay (covid-19). So I was pleasantly surprised this year to discover that it is very similar to the white variety, Constance Elliott, that I had in my garden in Pinner, Middlesex, England over a decade ago. This variety is called Blue Crown.

I just looked it up, as I know this flower as Passion flower,Passiflora and found out, that 'Constance Elliot' is a delightful climber, bearing unusual white flowers, rather than the typical purple blooms associated with Passiflora ... Beautiful photo!

Thank you, Eva. I must be more diligent in presenting facts! This variety is called Blue Crown, not Constance Elliott and I have changed the title and the notes accordingly! (You made me look it up!) The colourings are different - more blue in these - and I simply made a mistake!!

Apart from a few archive shots from the 80s (VERY few) and about half of my shots in 2012-2013 (two small digitals), all my shots have been with mobile phones, the best one being the oldest, my beloved and much lamented Nokia N95 that I dropped in a bog in Cornwall in 2012!

I remember your excellent shot from 5 years ago, Füsun (strange because my memory isn't so hot these days!!).
They're all passiflora and there are 100s of different types but I think this one is the most common, at least in European climes!
