A Chinchón bodega (winery and cellars)

A Chinchón bodega (winery and cellars)
I was rather snobbish about the wines of Madrid for far too long. In my defence, I had been out of the loop with regards keeping up to speed on developments in the wine world and, despite living in Madrid, I had completely missed out on the exciting improvements here. Now I buy the the wines of Madrid Province regularly; great quality and value!
According to Google Maps, there is also a restaurant of the same name here.
I thought there would be a wine shop here and I thought about popping in but as it was lunchtime (3:30) I knew I wouldn't be welcomed with open arms, so I thought better of it and smooched on by!

I'm with Rosa on this, especially little side roads like this, a bit off the main thoroughfares! Beautifully captured Andy.

It's actually the entrance to the winery and so it's not a public street at all!

Yes 3.30pm was a tad early for evening meal and too late for lunch, so you might have interrupted their siesta!!!! Glad you've found better wine, and cheaper is always good too.
