I may be behind on ipernity but I have to be up to speed work-wise!

I still find a page-per-day old-fashioned diary indispensable! I never even got into Filofax, much too complicated!

Erhard Bernstein, cammino, Aschi "Freestone", Jean-luc Drouin and 4 other people have particularly liked this photo

Superbe..IL n'y a pas mieux qu'un journal intime .
IL est palpable et on peut l'ouvrir avec délicatesse.

I'm with you there - although there's no need for me to have a day-by-day journal nowadays. I do prefer to hold a book to read, I can't be doing with these books on the tablets.

I´ve never had a tablet and mobiles are too small to type on with my poor eyesight and arthritic fingers! These things were designed by young people for young people who can't conceive what it's like to have to use these wretched things as you get older!!!

I used one of these for years and then I moved to a Filofax which was perftect. Once I left the RN I had no real need for either. All we have now is a hanging calender to note birthdays, medical appoints and the like - being retired is a much simpler life.

I do have a Kindle though..............I got one for Xmas a few years back and I love it. I can make the text bigger so I don't have to worry about having reading glasses with me.

As my memory for important recent things goes south, so my need for handwritten notes, diary entries, lists of things to do, etc increases. So I use more paper than before the advent of the smart phone! DOH!
