H. A. N. W. E. everyone!
Torre Picasso, Madrid in intense light this morning.
I had three classes here this morning. My first was at 7:30 am and it was perishing cold (minus something or other) and I was well wrapped up on the way here (on foot, 20 minutes from my flat). By the time I left at about 1:00 it was in the 70s F (about 23ºC). I had to lug my heavy crombie, scarf and gloves all round Madrid in t-shirt weather!
One of the hazards of living in Madrid!

Andy Rodker club has replied to Keith Burton clubAndy Rodker club has replied to Jenny McIntyre clubI teach Business English. That's basically English to workers and executives in companies - not kids in schools - in groups of adults or one-to-ones for the more senior executive types. I am freelance and currently work through 6-9 academies / agencies and I also have private students. I came to this job after 30 years in Finacial Services as an IFA in London. I wish I'd made the switch at least 10 years earlier! Still, the knowledge gained in my earlier career adds value to my teaching services for business people here in Madrid, especially in the financial field!.,
OMG the temperature difference...UGH!!! I know exactly what you mean though, sometimes the change is so ridiculous that it's quite annoying, esp when you must lug all of your heavy warm gear around with you!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Janet Brien clubSometimes I have time to go home and shed the heavy gear, but not on this day!
Keep well.. Cheers from Dave.
