Another sunrise shot from a previous flat.
I saw a lot of these in 2012 / 2013. I have seen very few since!
Interesting fact: shot taken at midsummer and dawn is incredibly late (for us Brits), at 6 am approx. It means that ther are some days, even in summer, when I leave to take an early morning class and return after an evening class, when I don't get to see daylight at all! And that is depressing!
Unlike some of my sunrise / sunset shots there was very little editing done here, just the frame and some cropping (from memory - it was 5 and a half years ago).

Andy Rodker club has replied to Christa1004 clubI have to guess the date because that digital camera is about 15 months out and experts haven't been able to fix it. I will change the date of the earlier shot to match the date here!!!
Sadly I've only seen one or two sunrises / sunsets since!
It's all about location and opportunity.

Andy Rodker club has replied to Keith Burton clubI remember a few sunrises when I woke to see it all unfurling and I had to go the loo first, then find my camera, then try and be wide awake to know what I should be doing. By the time I got my act together it was often too late!
bon Week/end
Have a great weekend ;-)
I really like this
Superb colours and great clouds!
I thought the midsummer sun rose a lot earlier than 06:00hrs (the exif gives 03:20), but accept that my be England time or something..
Best Wishes, , and a good weekend
Peter
Andy Rodker club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubPlease ignore the exif.
This digital has always given the date and time about 15 months out and experts haven't been able to understand why!! I change the date and time on ipernity to a rough approximation but the exif obstinately can't be changed!
No. This was dawn, close to 6 at midsummer. It is how it is in Spain and they have been trying to change the time zone anomaly for decades!
I tell my students that at midsummer we as children were riding our bikes and playing in the parks at 4 and 5 in the morning in midsummer before returning home for breakfast and then school. They are incredulous! But then we went to bed at 7 and Spanish children of whatever age, go to bed after midnight!!!!
Best wishes,
Andy
send me your sunrises, please !
