San Antonio Morning

San Antonio Morning
Nothing especially great about these photos but i wanted to tell the story of our recent stay in San Antonio, Texas. The second day of our stay began with an early morning walk along the river, but this time away from downtown. Later in the morning we would follow the same route on bikes and go much further south to see the other old Spanish missions along the river. Finished with our walk we went back to the guesthouse for a wonderful breakfast and then out again to rent bikes.

Frans Schols, Ulrich John, Fred Fouarge, and 12 other people have particularly liked this photo

What a beautiful morning for you two. LOL, Nancy was on a MISSION! :D I get it though--it's important to get out there and experience these place as much as we can when we're away. Missed a bunch of days on our trip because of issues and that's too bad. It seems like no big deal to miss city walks but really, it always ends up being a great experience, doesn't it? :) I really enjoyed these pictures, thanks for taking me on your walk with you! :)

I just loved your comments on my Western Fairy Slipper Orchid picture...I was very proud of that picture...I managed to get a facsimile of true bokeh going on in the background with my p&s super zoom camera and that made me so happy!! :) Thanks for your remarks and extra information about its growth habits. Have I mentioned lately how extremely cool I think you are for your wealth of orchid knowledge?! What a walking orchid encyclopedia. I love it! :)

And your comment about the Grand Canyon "Ooh Aah" spot...totally cracked me up! :D Were you guys as dazzled as I was by the shells all over the place? I know they weren't EVERYWHERE but my recollection was that there were fossilized shells wherever I looked. Totally incredible!

Ok, I'm out for a bit...I have other posts to answer though, so will be back! :D
