Kinney Lake
When we first arrived in Edmonton our family there was ill with strep throat and so we left again to do some hiking and backpacking in Mount Robson Provincial Park in British Columbia. Robson is west of Jasper and we did three days backpacking there on the Berg Lake trail. This was taken the first day as we hiked around Kinney Lake, having done about five kilometers of trail. The first four kilometers follow the Robson River through the woods along an old road but then, having reached Kinney Lake the trail becomes somewhat more difficult, gaining and losing elevation in the hills around the lake for three kilometers. As is evident from the photo, the weather did not look very promising at this point but it did clear and become sunny later in the day. This photo was taken by my wife, as were two of the inset photos.
