Ashford Mill

Ashford Mill
These ruins are all that remain of the Ashford Mill, on old gold mining mill on the southern end of Death Valley at an elevation of 121 feet (37 m) below sea level. The mill was used to process ore from the Golden Treasure Mine in the mountains to the east. This photo was taken near sunset and after photographing the mill and the sunset we had our evening meal there and slept the night there.
