Granite Balds at Sares Head
The ultimate destination in Sharpe Park is Sares Head where one has fabulous views of the Straits of San Juan and the San Juan Islands. This photo was taken looking south and shows the granite balds which are quite a common feature of the coast in this area and which support a unique and wonderful flora.
