I've seen only the later series (80's or 90's).

Wichtig, ein Kernproblem unserer Zeit und der Zukunft wird angesprochen:
Das Klima wird trockener. 2018 und 2019 hatte es bei uns hier im Sommer außergewöhnlich wenig geregnet. Dieses Jahr war das Frühjahr extrem trocken: Die Landwirtschaft ist gezwungen sich darauf einzustellen.

Eine interessante ingenieurtechnische Lösung betreffs der baustatischen Erfordernisse:
Das Wasserrohr nimmt als statische Belastungen auch noch die mechanischen Druckspannungen auf.
