The lake
The boat-looking thing in the lake is an algae-collecting machine. There is a company that harvests, processes and sells the green algae for dubious wellness purposes. (Hahaha - sorry, Andy, I had to mention it.)

That is smoke from the N. California fire. We're back to unhealthy air, but nothing compared with south of us.

I conceded as gracefully as I was able before, Diane but if you continue rub my nose in it, then I can only wish you a green algae-filled wellness bath, cold of course, and in the middle of winter!

Hahahaaa! Of course, and I'm sure you gather that I do, too! Therefore, I will NOT be taking a cold algae bath, not even a hot one. There are some recent warnings by - ahem - scientists, that ingestion of this algae is dangerous, as it has toxic effects. Don't remember details, but I thought, "Aha! How do you like your wellness, now, people?"
