NC500 GT. - 12 - Applecross
Another look across to Skye from Camusterrach, Applecross. The white house was our home for a week. See adjacent photo for details of the area.
A 1993 slide.
The NC 500: The Scottish 'North Coast 500' is one of the world’s most beautiful road trips. A route of just over 500 miles (516) of stunning coastal scenery, white sandy beaches, rugged mountains, remote fishing villages and hidden gems.
NB the village of Plockton is just 10 miles south of here -as the crow flies!

This is a really beautiful shot Herb.........the mountains of Skye make a magnificent backdrop and the light is gorgeous. The house looks very impressive and I like the broken and distorted reflections.
Very well composed and taken..!!
Herb Riddle club has replied to Keith Burton clubYou will see, that I, along with Roger (Grisly) are endeavouring to catalogue some of the highlights with this NC500 in this group.
Best Wishes. Herb

A wonderful and interesting picture, which I like very much!
Very nice composition, as always.
It was suggested that we visit Applecross, but sadly didn't have the time.
Of course we saw many people doing the NC500.. (especially Germans)
Best Wishes, Happy Monday, a nice week ahead, and stay safe!!
Peter
Herb Riddle club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubI expect that you, like me would be happy about that and being able to rekindle some of your German language skills. Perhaps you have some more photos of your own travels on this route that we could share in the NC500 group.
Keep safe and enjoy the week. Herb (Greetz also to Füsun)
Thank you for adding this superb image to the "North Coast 500 Group"
Regards. Herb
