Balintoy in the calm

Balintoy in the calm
After many shots of this harbour village area in stormy sea’s, here we see a much calmer scene. In the distance we see some cormorants drying their wings. I am not sure what this white rock was but it one of many types around here.

Enjoy the day.

Thanks Gordon. You have seen a few sea views from here now. Perhaps a run of something different next. Glad you liked the cormorant view.

I like the white rock with all the cracks.
There are a lot of cormorants around West Bay at the moment.
I have never seen so many there.

Lovely shot Herb.
The white rock at Balintoy is Upper Cretaceous Chalk - the same limestone seen in the White Cliffs of Dover.
