Didn't think too much about the layers on clicking but it worked out OK.

I'm with Joe regarding the composition..........and I like the neat way the layers are separated by hedgerows and the dry stone wall in the foreground.

I like the look of the bales too (they're not wrapped in plastic) and there are some nice lines in the stubble. Good to see the sheep in the foreground.

Well captured Herb.

Lines are good here as you say and the sheep were a bonus. Thanks for this Keith.

Good that you enjoyed this view Gordon. We had plenty to see on this big walk.

Yesterdays Dovestone walk was good too with very pleasant company. I look forward to seeing more shots from you of that outing.

Best Wishes. Herb

A wonderful view in both directions. Did you see Villages by the Sea last week one of them was Craster.

Glad you liked it Doug. I had been told once before to look in on that series but never got down to it. I shall try to look it up as we would have liked to see the documentary on Craster which as you know was our starting point for this walk.

The colours and overall impact isn't far short of the view from the back of the house where I live at the momnt (well, not quite, as I'm in Cornwall on family business!).

Hi Andy, good to see you again. You are then lucky to have such views from your house in Madrid. I know, I have seen and commented on a few of them too, in the past. So you are back in your beloved Cornwall. I had seen a recent resurgence of photos from there but had presumed that they were older ones from your stock-pile. Anyway, glad you liked this one.

It's usually the large round covered bales we see these days. Nice to see the old type again.
I also like the misty view of the castle in your PiP.
Cheers, Rosa.
