Thanks Gordon. Yes it was nice to get back up this arm of the reservoirs after at least four aborted tries in the last few months. Not sure if they will fell yet more trees there. We'll yet take a walk together up here one day.

This is really lovely Herb..............great to see you had such beautiful sunny weather for this walk.

Awesome composition as always............that body of water is perfectly placed in the frame and the light on the surface is gorgeous. The landscape is wonderful, especially up on the slopes of the hills. A super colour palette too.

Nice to see the shot in the PiP again..........and it really shows how much the pine woods have been thinned out.
