You are so lucky, 5 mins...the snow fell for three days here. It was very cold during our walk this morning and the temperature is steadily falling.

Das haette ich auch lieber gehabt, dann waere das viele Schaufeln nicht so schwer gewesen.

It is such deep snow for a little dog. You can get snow boots for dogs. Our boxer in Michigan sometimes wore boots in the snow.

Our super-sensitive little girl doesn't like to have her paws touched. I found out that bag balm before an outing helps her a little bit. She only has a very difficult time outside when the temperature drops below 20 degrees. I keep a trail shoveled in our yard for her to run along, so she doesn't have to get into the deep snow at all. This photo shows how we have to get to the trail and back to the car. She manages that quite well.
