☑ Upload Button Grayed Out

I can't upload any images as my "Upload" button is grayed out and not functioning. This just started happening today, October 25th, 2021. I've never seen this problem before.

All right, it started working again. And then a banner was placed at the top of my page saying the server maintainence was finished and uploads would work again. I wish we could have been notified with a banner like that before the fact. Thanks!

Indeed there was such an info since last week. You must have clicked to the "close" - button without reading it....
As the tweet on Twitter was posted by ipernity - twitter.com/ipernity/status/1451291619618066437 - the banner was already shown one or two days before we send the tweet.
The banner text said "Due to necessary maintenance work on one of our servers, uploading documents will not be possible for about one hour next Monday (25.10.2021) starting from 19:00 CET (17:00 UTC)."

We had to disable the upload because we are working on the server which process the uploaded files which includes some restarts of it. So to avoid multiple uploads of the same photos again and again just because they don´t shown up in your account quickly (and then all get processed after the server is up again) we decided to disable the uploading during this short time period.
